Join your fellow Daily Texan alumni from across generations for the Friends of the Daily Texan Fifth Annual Award Event on Friday, Nov. 3 in the Texas Union Ballroom.

We will begin with a reception at 6 p.m., allowing you time to visit with your friends and colleagues, and meet other Daily Texan supporters. Dinner and awards presentation will follow, beginning at 7 p.m.

The awards event recognizes Daily Texan alumni who have led distinguished careers and individuals who have demonstrated support for The Daily Texan.

The evening also allows everyone who supports The Texan to visit, re-connect and celebrate your time at UT. Come meet the honorees, and bask in the pride of the great accomplishments of our peers. The program will also include a presentation by the current Daily Texan editors to update alumni on what’s happening this year in the newsroom.

Please join us for this opportunity to re-connect with Texan alums of all eras, celebrate the induction of new honorees into The Daily Texan Hall of Fame, and learn more about the current status of The Daily Texan.
